Though these two compositions look like they were produced using a digital process, Kelly’s Spectrum Colors Arranged by Chance actually involve a simple cut-and-pasted paper collage technique. On closer inspection, you just make out the slightly imperfect alignment of the squares composed, of course, by human hand.
